TIMIMOUN Gas Field Development GOSP Project

Timimoun Gas Field Development GOSP Project was a project ordered by GTIM, a joint venture between Algeria’s largest state-owned oil company Sonatrach, France’s largest petroleum company Total, and Spanish oil company Cepsa.

Gas Production of 177 Million Standard Cubic Feet per Day (MMSCFD)

This project was aimed at developing the natural gas field located in Timimoun region in the Sahara Desert 800 km southwest of Algiers, the capital of Algeria. The project built a central processing facility that produces 177 MMSCFD and pipelines that collect and transport the gas.
